Matt focuses primarily on representing industrial landlords and tenants in the leasing and marketing of warehouse, flex and distribution properties throughout metro Atlanta. He joined Hughes-CRE in April 2014 following three years as an industrial broker with Resource Real Estate Partners, which was acquired by CBRE in January 2013. Matt has represented a diverse and extensive list of institutional owners, including Cabot Properties, KTR Capital, Meritex, Agellan, Oakmont Industrial Group, and AEW and has been consistently recognized as one of the top producers in the Atlanta industrial market. Additionally, Matt has represented a growing list of companies with their real estate needs throughout the metro Atlanta area.
Prior to joining Resource, Matt served as an analyst for the Commercial Real Estate Lending group of Regions Bank, where he was responsible for underwriting commercial loan transactions, preparing discounted cash flow valuations, and analyzing property operating statements. Prior to his time at Regions, Matt worked as an analyst for CBRE’s Atlanta Industrial Investment Properties Group, where he was involved in the underwriting and disposition of approximately $1.5 billion of industrial and office properties across the United States.
