About Us

Tommy started his career in commercial real estate in 1998, specializing in representing companies in their search and negotiations of leases, land acquisition, build-to-suits and sales. After 8 years with Carter & Associates, Tommy formed Hughes Commercial Real Estate in 2009 specializing in Brokerage on behalf of his clients and Investments of his own account. Tommy represents his brokerage clients on both a local and national level and has completed transactions totaling nearly one billion dollars. The Investment business currently controls over 200,000 SF in various submarkets of Atlanta with another 95,000 SF of space in the development pipeline.

Prior to entering commercial real estate, Tommy worked in the mid 1990’s as a field engineer with Winter Construction Company.

Matt focuses primarily on representing industrial landlords in the leasing and marketing of warehouse, flex and distribution properties throughout metro Atlanta. He joined Hughes-CRE in April 2014 following three years as an industrial broker with Resource Real Estate Partners, which was acquired by CBRE in January 2013.  Matt has represented a diverse and extensive list of institutional owners, including Cabot Properties, KTR Capital, Meritex, Oakmont Industrial Group, and AEW and has been consistently recognized as one of the top producers in the Atlanta industrial market.

Prior to joining Resource, Matt served as an analyst for the Commercial Real Estate Lending group of Regions Bank, where he was responsible for underwriting commercial loan transactions, preparing discounted cash flow valuations, and analyzing property operating statements.

Stuart Bracey joined Hughes Commercial Real Estate in 2015 and focuses on helping national, regional and local businesses with industrial leasing, purchasing and sales.

Stuart began his career with PaineWebber in their asset management department and later joined Salomon Smith Barney as a financial consultant with their Atlanta private wealth management group.

Stuart co-founded Southern Landscape Supply, one of Atlanta’s largest bulk landscape supply companies and later went on to found Hendrick Landscape, a residential landscape installation business.

James “Bo” Hammack joined Hughes Commercial Real Estate in 2015. As a licensed real estate agent since 2012, Bo specializes in tenant representation, lease negotiations, land acquisition, and sales. Integrity and hard work are the principles that guide Bo in servicing his clients.

Growing up in Dalton, Georgia, the carpet capital of the world, Bo began his 15 year sales career with Shaw Industries, the leading producer of carpet in the world. He was consistently recognized as a top producer earning multiple awards for his region and the Southeastern United States.

John Allen Mixon joined Hughes Commercial Real Estate in fall of 2016, immediately following his graduation from Georgia Southern University. As a 4th generation Atlanta Realtor, John Allen has been immersed in both commercial and residential real estate his entire life. By joining the Hughes Commercial Real Estate team, John Allen is building his career through partnering with experienced brokers in the firm in order to deliver outstanding service to his clients, while learning the fundamentals of the Atlanta commercial real estate business. Though still gaining experience, John Allen has earned the trust of clients ranging from veteran non-profits, a local distribution company, an international motor company, as well as healthcare developers. John Allen specializes in industrial buildings and land sites, assisting clients in tenant representation, land lord representation, lease negotiations, land acquisition, and sales. John Allen’s passion is networking and developing relationships, which he uses to build a deep understanding of his client’s companies and their real estate needs.

Mason Marsteller joined Hughes Commercial Real Estate in 2018, following a position as a Data Analyst at a 3rd party logistics company where he helped LTL carriers save over $2.8 million annually. As a licensed real estate agent, Mason specializes in tenant representation, lease negotiations, land acquisition, and sales. He partners with Tommy Hughes to bring collectively over 20 years of real estate experience to work with his clients.

Mason earned a double major from the University of Alabama's honors college, in both finance and marketing and he enjoys traveling, live music, and skiing.

Katerina Kukharchuk joined Hughes Commercial Real Estate in early 2019 bringing with her over 12 years of experience supporting daily operational and administrative functions from 2006 to 2015 at Alex Rubin & Company, a commercial real estate appraisal and consulting firm based in Metro Atlanta and from 2016 to 2018 at Lavista Associates, Inc., an Atlanta commercial real estate company.
